Fall issue of Gastronomica
The Fall issue covers topics that range from the most basic ingredient (Salt, by Dana Polan), to indulgent desserts (Cheesecakes, Junkets, and Syllabubs), artisan cheeses, and traditional seasonal foods such as Yule logs and mince pies. Gastronomica also takes an irreverent look at Mad Magazine’s cookbooks, provides a spicy recipe for S&M marmalade, and voyages to Sumatra to dine with a remote hill tribe.

The SAVEUR 100—our annual salute to our favorite foods, drinks, people, places, and culinary things; plus a Carnevale banquet with an exuberant Italian restaurateur in Brooklyn; Mexico's great morning-after soup; and much more.
