Ingredients
3/4
cup All-Purpose Flour
3/4 tsp. Baking Soda 3/4 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Kosher Salt
8 1/2 tbsp. Unsalted Butter, room temp.
1/3 cup plus
2 tbsp. light brown sugar, lightly packed
7 tbsp. Granulated Sugar 4 tsp. Molasses 2 1/4 tsp. Water
1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract 1 Large Egg
2 Cups Quick Oats
1/2 Cup Raisins
1/2 Cup Walnuts, Ground

Preheat oven to 350 Degrees
2. Sift flour, baking soda, and cinnamon together into a small bowl then
add salt. Set aside.
3. Cream the butter, both sugars, molasses, water and vanilla together
until light and fluffy, about 1 1/2 minutes. Stop mixer to scrap sides
of bowl.
4. Add the egg and beat on medium for about 20 seconds to fully mix.
5. Add the flour mixture and beat on medium for about 10 seconds.
6. Add the oats and beat. Then mix in raisins and walnuts.
7. Drop 3 oz. scoop onto greased cookie sheet and press down. Bake until
golden brown, approximately 15 minutes.
For some reason, it is very hard to develop the perfect recipe for such
a simple cookie! I must have tried at least half a dozen different recipes
then played around with them.
